Citation Encore
In the early nineties Cessna decided to stretch their Citation II and created the Citation V line of aircraft. In 1998 the Citation V line was updated again and became the Citation Encore. They featured updated engines with less fuel capacity than earlier models but with the improved engine performance the range actually increased.
With the fuel tank size reduced there was room for the much softer landing trailing link main landing gear that pilots had clamored for after the stiff legged landings from earlier versions. It can also climb faster and cruise higher than the previous aircraft. A redesigned interior also gives passengers more headroom and cabin space which leads to a more comfortable flight.
In 2006 the Encore was updated again to become the Encore+ which added even more sophisticated avionics as well as a higher maximum payload along with additional cabin improvements.
